and like those examples, it says that the only thing you can do in a ruined world is to be responsible to one another. it eschews a lot of the "cozy" framing despite sharing a lot of mechanical similarities of a farming/life-sim, simultaneously rejecting their individualist, materialist natures

there's a lot I wanna say about kemoverse. aesthetically, ideologically, its adoration of the sensory. I think it's easy to look at its world and conclude that it's akin to Roadside Picnic and its ilk, but it's more reminiscent of iyashikei fiction. It's a Yokohama Shopping Log, a Girls' Last Tour
