Reeling this in feels nice.

Wireless VR is for losers.

I’m gonna yell “reel me in” like I’m stuck through the portal in Poltergeist.

I love that the only product name that the last commenter gets right is the one that is open source.

$100 battery & water bottle sling solves all standalone VR headset battery anxiety without added head weight for any standalone VR headset.

I’ve used a setup like this with 5 different high output batteries and slings of all shapes and sizes.

Wearing a lot of battery is fine, just not on head.

Inaccurate, I captured two videos of the magnets.

Going to the secret VR demo and only capturing this video of the Steam Controller’s wireless adapter snapping on with magnets.

My wife got me a Virtual Boy like six months ago and held it till my birthday.

Observe, the IPD dial on the mid-90s desk-mounted VR from Nintendo.

I'm going to tell my kids Job Simulator used to require controllers held in your hands and Bluesky used to be called Twitter.

I have installed and can run the OpenXR edition of Tilt Brush on Android XR. Unfortunately, it does not recognize that I am in a headset and serves me a flat version. Switch: "Not Like this".

I want Tilt Brush in my Google VR.

I was promised “immortality”.

The open source code for Tilt Brush lists SteamVR as a prerequisite. I can't find an APK listing in the open for Open Brush.

Google search on this headset told me to install Steam to this headset to get Tilt Brush.

Might go to Google HQ in Maps and throw birds because I can't express myself.

Back in headset today up to no good inside Android virtual reality. Virtual environment is active, typing on my Logitech keyboard and mouse into Bluesky.

Here, I'll show you:

Modretro Chromatic to Samsung Galaxy XR confirmed with UVC camera app.

Fuck the free Android app for giving me my first pop up ad in VR. $5.50 paid to “Pro”.

More ads seen in VR in my time working in this headset with Google services in 3 hours than in 14 years of visiting spaces in VR previously.

The display at the Apple Store would seem to taunt with the prospect of an M2 trade in program that does not exist, at least not yet.

Why else display the Solo Knit Band next to the new unit?

A eye-lens protector should fold out from the front-lens protector for instant dual-lens protection of a VR headset.

I believe this is the first depiction shared in public that shows “The Walkabout Path” through Gravity Sketch.

This is why @walkaboutminigolf.bsky.social feels like a place.

An artist made this tunnel through VR a year ago and then asked others to contribute their talents.
