Turner: The Secret Sketchbooks review – the sheer number of pornographic drawings is a big shock
Turner: The Secret Sketchbooks review – the sheer number of pornographic drawings is a big shock
JMW Turner left behind some 37,000 sketches when he died, many of which have rarely been seen. Do they – including a huge collection of explicit sketches – reveal truths about the elusive man?

If you are able to kill the mosquito that bit you, it should immediately free you from all the itchy bites it gave you

Howdy! I made a little something for iam8bit's 20th anniversary. They are having a show soon and a lot of really cool artists are involved, so if you are in the LA area you should definitely come check it out!

Very late to the party on this but I finally have been playing through hollow knight 1 and really been enjoying it, right up until I hit the white palace. I'm like halfway through and I just want it to be over

Genndy Tartakovsky shared test footage from his film ‘The Black Knight’. It follows a knight who controls a 20ft suit of armor. Sony isn't sure there's an audience for the film and haven’t greenlit it yet.

After Kpop demon hunters success I don't understand why Sony are dragging their feet on this!

studios arent turning to AI. Ownership and dipshit leadership are, and are making everyone's jobs harder in the process.

Ngl, the reason I wanted to finally read Ruslan and Ludmila by Alexander Pushkin was because I wanted to know what the heck was going on in these Gennady Novozhilov illustrations. It did not disappoint.

A gorgeous promo for the Super Famicom 1993 release of R-Type III: The Third Lightning.

I love the mix of black lines and filled sections and the pale, almost eldritch teal. Goes so well with intricate ship artwork.

seeing people hit by the layoffs today who have worked in the industry for DECADES. one guy had worked on fucking STAR WARS GAMES FOR THE SNES, another had been at blizzard since starcraft.

that kind of continual experience in the industry is like gold dust, and MS are just throwing it in the bin

It's so crazy how the comics, animation, and video games industries are wildly popular billion dollar profit type shit and yet there is no money and no jobs for the people who make that possible

With this budget, ICE alone would have nearly as large a detention operation as all 50 states' prison systems combined. Bigger budget than the Marine Corps. Police-state levels of spending
If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029:

- $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion
- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention
- Billions more.
