Latest Promarker drawing, No. 57/100 in my #100figures challenge. I know it's not a full figure, but I'm still including it. A youthful boy emerges from milky water, a rose flower where his mouth should be. "Deflowered" marks the change from innocence to maturity.

A painting from 2023, my own version of "The Fallen Angel". Lucifer crouches defiantly on the edge of the abyss, wings still feathered, but shaping toward bat wings, marking his transformation into Satan. Paradise is lost, storm clouds and high mountains obscure it.

Last year I painted a 18x24 inch landscape canvas copy of Alexandre Cabanel's 1847 masterpiece "The Fallen Angel". I've painted it in my own style, which is not as refined as the classically trained Cabanel. I also didn't want to include the angels. #masterworks #oldmasters

Latest painting is a gouache on a 8x10 inch canvas board. "Eros - God of Erotic Love". Eros was the child of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love, and Ares, God of War. His arrows were said to pierce the hearts of lovers, although often one was hit and the other went awry.

Latest work in progress, a male torso on an acrylic abstract textured base. Next layer will be in oils. Pic. 3 is current stage, having finished the acrylic underpainting. I used Pale Umber, Deep Turquoise and Prussian Blue for this layer, in oils I'll use a mix of Burnt Sienna and Prussian Blue.
