I did a shit load of walking today at #turtlebackzoo as a chaperone for my daughter's field trip, and topped the day off with a full body steady state session with the wife and then a mini strength training workout. I'd call that a pretty good day!

Helping my wife get on a routine so tonight I did a 30 minute beginner full body steady state workout just to get her muscles moving, and then a half session of my full body strength training workout.

The day has come to an end, and it was a productive cardio and yin yoga day! Macros weren't perfect but there is plenty of time to correct. One day one make a difference.

I changed my mind and went back to upper body, lower body, cardio splits. Upper body done, reps down to 8-12 almost to failure, higher resistance. I need the extra upper body recovery to be more than 48 hours is why I switched back. Daily calorie intake increased too.

That's a wrap! Full body strength training workout in the books. TTFIF! I'll admit reducing the resistance and doing reps to failure instead of higher resistance doing a specific set of reps time under tension has a different but more prominent burn to it. Good night!

After work 5k for my cardio day. I ran with my son in his jogger so the pace is down, but adds a bit of resistance which has it's benefits! Yin yoga tonight.

Change up for the next 4 weeks. Full body strength training 3 days, 3 run days, and 1 complete rest day. Reduced resistance, reps are to failure, 3 sets each. I can tell my body reacted to it as there was a slight burn, and am more sore than usual but it's a good sore.
