Russia deployed nerve agents in my country, its attacked democratic processes, its bribed politicians, its mounted attacks against infrastructure.

Russia is already waging war on the UK, it just hasn’t involved shooting yet.

& Retaining the 20% VAT charged on public charging which makes EVs less attractive to those without off street parking (usually the less well off).

Perhaps there’s some super clever macroeconomics behind this, but to me it looks absolutely ridiculous.

It’s the donations of Rafale & purchase of Gripen which will be the real shift - capability with a level of sovereignty that buying US doesn’t provide.
