Yep. I had a scare where we couldn't rule out a heart attack. Ambulance took me to emergency. Saw a cardiologist. Did full 3D heart scan, EKG, etc. Less than $350 total

Jeffries: "It's unbelievable that for 7 plus weeks Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva has been denied the ability to serve more than 800,000 people in Arizona because Republicans are running a pedophile protection program."

The thing is that if you get your data from DoorDash, it might be more convenient but the costs add up in the long run, because it’s really better and cheaper to just go directly to the data place and pick it up yourself.

Republicans now know Schumer will cave and how.

They know they got 8 now. This is why it was important not to sell out.

Mr. Badger, I’m very tired
While living in Japan, I was due for a colonoscopy (history of Crohn’s) and I need anesthesia. Japan hospital rules say anesthesia is overnight stay. They very gravely warned me that would be the equivalent of USD200
another American friend broke a whole limb while in Paris. she needed medical care, obviously, x-rays, etc. was told—very gravely—that she’d have to pay 32 euros for the whole thing. 32 euros for all of it!!!!

in Paris, I had to see a same-day doctor & I found one. was gravely warned that, as a foreigner, I’d have to pay 32 euros & I laughed & laughed

a friend there said “make sure you get X kind of doctor, not Y, because the Y kind charges 74 WHOLE EUROS” & once again I bitterly, bitterly laughed 😭
My ACA current plan is going from $385/mo to $821/mo.

I'm going to start putting together some free info and resources for indie game devs looking to self-publish. I see a lot of people making simple mistakes, and hear a lot about being overwhelmed by what they need to do.

Do folk have specific self-publishing questions they'd want answered?
I haven’t watched any of it yet
I don’t think you can separate the two considering that the titular Oliver was clearly Oliver Cromwell
I had a really rough time the last two days too

Authors, Beware! There's a firm called "ClaimsHero" doing aggressive social media outreach claiming to
"help" you file to get $ in the Anthropic class action. In fact, it's a bait-and-switch, they are luring authors to sign up with them, then OPTING THEM OUT of the class action so they'll get zilch.
