Not a medical professional or anything but I remember seeing a documentary where someone survived hours after their throat was slit simply because they tilted their head a certain way so it practically stopped the bleeding. Maddie was only minutes so I think she & the baby would both be okay.

Both. And I think he watches every single baking championship that Food Network has and he roots for the home cooks. He watches the kids one too, of course, because how could he not?
