I guess we can severely cut MLA pay if they are going to use AI to write legislation. No doubt if there ended up being loopholes in it, they would say MLAs aren't to blame. Convenient.

Govt promises “guardrails” to come and that lifesaving care will be unaffected, but if they can’t manage outsourcing labs, how will they manage a two-tier system for emergencies, surgeries, and cancer care?

A clear violation of the Canada Health Act, but of course they will just use the notwithstanding clause, because that is just how they deal with inconvenient laws that otherwise prevent the govt from repressing Charter Rights or breaking the law. Or to help their buds profit on healthcare.

It seems like a questionable use for voter info. Obviously, Elections AB needs to ensure ppl don't vote more than once, but beyond that, the info should be private. I encourage everyone to vote, but if some chose not to, that doesn't make them less of a citizen or entitled to less representation.
