everything from ICO tbh i watched my older brothers play it and i never thought things could look like that. how the queen and yorda get lost in the game's light and shadows, to the point you can barely make out yorda's face/the queen's body, esp i contrast to ico's very grounded and colorful design
When yall were kids (think like.. age 4-12) what was the coolest character design you had ever seen that was super formative?

📌Okay so, I forgot that functionality of the Old Queen Fight is still testable with debug mode. That's why Ico's animations for it are still in the game.
I assumed that turning 'New Queen Battle' off wouldn't result in changes with late builds, and I should've tested that assumption before posting.

Is 'clunkiness' really as impactful a negative gaming critique as people think it is? Every game with 'clunky controls' that I've played just had to be adjusted to with some practice and care.
It's fair to state as a warning, but it's just a learning curve where people don't typically expect one.

I'm not invested in a lot of Team ICO Connection Theories. This is, in part, because I recognize a lot of them are just story writing exercises or thought experiments. They can be done for fun, without a whole bunch of evidence or research as a prerequisite. It doesn't harm anything or anyone.

Inaction, specifically, can be a powerful tool. In the opening, Ico does not struggle until he’s locked in his capsule.
