I know you're not supposed to say it out loud, but the whole AI thing these last few years has really cemented to me that most humans are literally not actually sapient entities with thoughts and feelings and a rich inner life, and most of all, they are not just as real as I am.

Using AI as a placeholder is NOT valid. Placeholders are meant to be obvious. They are labelled and look obnoxious for a reason. This is inexcusable.
This shit is exactly why placeholders are commonly pink/black checkerboxes with PLACEHOLDER in giant text on it so that shit doesn't get missed and go to fucking retail
