usually I extract all the images from the pdf with this tool, tools.pdf24.org/en/extract-i... , I don't really do much else. If the source quality isn't the problem, maybe it's how you set up the scene dpi/grid size?

I ran some games in 2020, starting out with DCC, got the boxset, and the poster inside is still framed on my wall (world tour 2019). Unfortunately me and my player weren't much aware of Fritz Leiber, many nuances were lost. My memory doesn't make me a novel reader sadly. Loved Masks, Small Crimes!
