Department of Defense Law of War Manual, Sec. 18.3.2.1 states the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders.

What’s its key example? Wait for it . . . It’s "orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

Keir Starmer, "Tax rises do make life harder for people, I understand that, it's obvious"

It's also obvious that a wealth tax of 1% on those with £10m+ would NOT make life harder for the rich - thats also obvious 🤷‍♂️

What happened to the 51st was the result of a scandalous decision by Churchill. He never liked Scotland or the Scottish People, never acted in Scotland's interests and was blatantly prepared to sacrifice this important Division. A timely reminder of an egregious act.

Only a dafty doesn't want Scottish Independence.

It's just common sense.

Rachel Reeves says on Laura Kuenssberg that she's asking working people to pay a little bit more.

This was all under the cover of a made up "black hole" whilst refusing to tax the super rich.

This Labour Government showing again exactly who they are and who they serve.

Reeves’ career: a pattern of dishonesty. She lied about her experience & qualifications & she plagiarised for a book.
There is a pattern of lying - as with Boris Johnson.
In her speech on Novem 4, she was again dishonest with the public because she falsely misrepresented the OBR position of Oct 31.

Hardly the only time this government has let rightwing online trolls guide policy if we are being totally honest.

This is rooted in the idea that disabled individuals should be "grateful for gruel". It's perception over reality as policy, no matter the way it reinforces the perception. 1/

Well, looks like Trump is going to war with Venezuela. Well, they do have a lot of oil and other stuff he wants. Given how they've been warming up with extra-judicial killings, this is going to be appalling. There is no military threat to the US so yet another illegal war.
WaPo/Military Times: Hegseth ordered troops to “kill everybody” on a boat at sea on 9/2/25-saying they were fighting “narcoterrorism”.

Yesterday, Trump fully pardoned former Honduran Pres Hernandez, convicted in ‘24 for conspiring to bring 400 TONS of COCAINE into the US. His sentence was 45 yrs!
