Tails.

As Ghostface raises the knife over her, Casey grabs at his mask. She can't breathe. Her body is losing blood fast. Her failing eyes blur, obscuring her killer's face. Each poke into her stomach feels duller, as feeling altogether leaves her body, and everything goes dark.

To Escape, Casey tries to Scream for her mother on the porch. Unfortunately, even with d8 Willpower, Casey rolls a 1: Perish. As she calls out, she feels a silent cry escape the hole in her lung. Her mother does not hear it. The Scale Shifts back to 4, and Casey must Flip the Death Coin to survive.

A 4 and a 2 come up, but she must take the lower, making her result Price. As Ghostface grabs her from behind, she chooses Fight, wrestling him off, but suffering a punctured lung in the process. Her Agility is in Critical Condition, and the Scale Shifts to 7.

On Casey’s turn, the GM tells her that her parents are pulling into the driveway, and Running there would have Greater Effect. Unfortunately, her sheet says she's Bad At Running, so she'd have to roll 2d4 and take the lower result to do so. She decides to take her chances, and rolls Agility to Run.

It's Ghostface's turn. As Casey peeks through the window, she finds herself face-to-face with the killer, who shatters the glass between them and grabs her knife. Casey uses her d6 Endurance to take a Hurt Risk, trying to Escape the Peril by hitting Ghostface with the phone.

Casey sees her Dad’s car and tries to Sneak around the house to the driveway. The GM decides this will have Lesser Effect, since she won't be able to move very quickly towards the car if she is focused on staying hidden. She rolls a 2 and a 4 and takes the higher, Shifting the Scale to 4.

Ghostface is moving through the house looking for Casey, so she must take a Risk to Escape the Peril. She only has a d4 in Agility, but her character sheet says she is Good At Sneaking, so she will try to quietly move onto the side porch and hide near the fence.

Casey uses her d8 Willpower to Spot something to fend off the killer with. The GM says this is a smart move; Progress will have Greater Effect. Rolling a 5, her Result is Pass, Shifting the Scale to 4 and adding a Knife to Casey's Tool inventory. She adds it to her character sheet, below "Phone".

“Your call.” Is the last thing Casey hears, before a chair comes crashing through the patio door. She frantically rushes into the kitchen.

PERIL: Ghostface is in the house.
TASK: Get to your parents before he gets you.
