Winter is a quieter time in the water. It was a sunny weekend though and the water at Flinders Pier was cool and clear.
There aren't many Weedy Seadragons around at the moment, but this relaxed sub-adult was cruising around, snapping at mysids.

This morning at Flinders there were around ten Armoured Chariots, moving around in pairs, sometimes converging, darting at each other. They’re spectacular when in large schools, the formation enhanced by their distinctive fins and starkly contrasting bands of black and white.
