If that is the case, the question is what did they fall through? All we can do is speculate. Could be the potential hires want more job security given that BioWare and the IPs are almost certain to be sold off after the acquisition goes through.

Holding pattern time! Till they find out who their next owners are! I just can't see EA keeping them around when they can't monetize ME and DA the way they can FC, Madden, BF6, Apex Legends, et al. With the show coming out I do think there will be plenty of interested buyers.
