Apples/oranges. 'M'all for dumping cars. Up to me: park all cars outside city limits & turn the streets over to walkers, bikes & free e-buses. But short of that: 15 mph speed limits; more sts closed to motor vehicles; speed bumps @ stops, etc. But nothing works w/o enforcement, & that we ain't got.

The article clearly distinguishes b/t e-bikes & heavier, faster vehicles like e-motos. An attempt where I live to regulate motos, etc., was abandoned because it was decided it would be too hard for cops to distinguish between e-bikes & the larger & more dangerous motos+. Registration would fix that.

They don't usually allow cars on bike paths and sidewalks.
