Just a guy trying to get to work and back every day without dying.
Me: Mouth of a sailor and two middle fingers
Them: Two ton metal box on wheels
My bad. Let me go ride 10-15mph in the road and then you can tell me how I need to use the trail.

The task force would probably say "we need time to do this right," but they are repeatedly failing to meet their own deadlines. You're telling me you need to wait to draft a nice report before you can start training employees and contractors not to block ped/bike infrastructure?

Actually I really wanted to be in the bike lane, where I exclusively ride. Who hurt you?

He sure showed me! I ended up having to... Um... Ride in the damn middle of the road to get around him.

Honestly, looking at the grass clippings makes me think someone mowing the grass decided to move it. Whoever that is should have just done the bare minimum like whatever contractor left it there in the first place and gone around it.

Unfortunately, and I find it hard to believe DPW would actually have done this, the sign was moved BACK into the middle of the sidewalk. Someone with agency decided that was the best place for the sign. It's back in a much safer and smarter spot, for now. This is war.

I posted the photos earlier, but seriously the effect of seeing it all in real time is just incredible. Had to share. Great laugh to start the morning.

Watch this clip of my commute this morning. I steer around a car standing in the bike lane. Behind me is an IMPD cruiser who witnesses me being impeded by this and does nothing. It must be in a hurry though, because it illegally cuts through a parking lot to avoid waiting at a red light to turn.

A bit down the road was ANOTHER construction vehicle parked on the cultural trail. Just moments earlier a very large piece of construction equipment also backed over the trail to make a turn. I'm sure they are going to pay the repairs that will inevitably be needed on this section.

I didn't grab her face, and honestly she didn't do anything too egregious besides honking at me for using my right of way. Someone should probably hand her a driver's handbook though.

Elderly white male, two broken fingers which were splinted. Camera doesn't catch the face, but you can see the splint. For anyone reading, if this is your grandpa please take his keys away.

Yes, I have a much higher resolution version of this video. Bsky just compresses everything to hell.

You can observe two additional things:

1) IMPD is parked on Capitol Ave but does not observe this or does not engage with the driver.

2) The driver continues to drive aggressively down the road, indicating that this was not a lapse in judgement.
