I sat on the Defend our Juries protest as a Jew opposing genocide and antisemitism countering the absurd insult that to oppose genocide is antisemitic. @defendourjuries.bsky.social @andrewfeinstein.bsky.social @owenjones.bsky.social @jewishvoice.bsky.social @zackpolanski.bsky.social

📢 Shareholders and senior management of privatised water companies are greedy, looting scumbags. Running a private monopoly is the business equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel, and still they feck it up. Nationalise them now and scrap the useless CMA. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

🤔 The left really should stop using the word "neoliberal". The broad mass of people don't know what it means so, politically, it's useless. The right are much better at using plain words that people understand. The left has fallen very far from, say, the beautiful clarity of "Peace, Land, Bread".

Don't really agree with him politically, too timid. Just seems more human than most in this govt. Think he's pushing the green agenda as far as the constraints of being in this govt, in this time, in this Overton Window, will allow. The art of the possible and all that...

No, that was terrible. He's improved since then. Job came way too early for him.

Quick reaction to the PM's conference speech (🧵)

"Wealth creation is hoarded by just a few communities", the PM said in his conference speech today. Another way of putting this is that too much wealth is extracted from our economy, rather than genuinely being created in the first place.

Yes, it feels like she has a bully pulpit - and uses it. To be fair, wonder if there have ever been any billionaires who don't think they should be listened to all the time? With great wealth comes great entitlement it seems...
