i see entire younger art communities trying to show off art they make NOW and immediately go "this is cringe" and pretend to hate what they made

please please be more passionate about what you like and create. i cannot count how many times i have seen people reflect on old art they made or interests they had and call it "cringe" so they can make fun of themselves and hope that instead of being laughed at, they can laugh with everyone.
