Smith
@infotransfer.bsky.social
A Canadian who (unfortunately) resides in Alberta.

Sorry.
I wouldn't be surprised if the "booos" were the actual intended goal. Separate Smith from her manipulators.

All variations?

"Pro-gressive" as the official name but when typed the dash is silent.

This should be fun.

...and, heaven forbid, they actually acknowledge it. Smith et al played with fire. It's third degree burn time.

As opposed to all the fantasies out there of long term O&G prosperity, Alberta separation, Poilievre competence, or US benevolence?

Step 1 - read the MOU.

I think what Carney is doing is systematically removing centrist support from under Poilievre. The percentage of actual rabid seems about the same at the genpop (15%ish). The MPs are good at repeating his rhetoric regardless of how they feel about it.
November 28, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Oh, for sure she will. But this should pretty much sink Poilievre's dinghy.
November 28, 2025 at 1:44 AM
By getting Smith to sign on, he places a wedge directly between Smith and Poilievre on the issue.

It's a hollow "victory". Once all the whine points are removed, the fed Con will be better seen as the far right party they've become. They'll never stop complaining, and their complaints will develop into mostly incoherent ramblings.
November 28, 2025 at 12:17 AM
True. That buttswipe will always whine.
November 27, 2025 at 9:47 PM
At least now Smith and Poilievre can shut the f up about "obstructionism". There is no private money going into any new pipeline on the planet besides Africa.

It's almost like Carney knows something about private investments and the market.

At least no other nation will ever buy your crops again. You can rejoice in the fact that your food is now completely home grown.
November 25, 2025 at 12:26 AM
NO means NO!!!!!
November 24, 2025 at 11:01 PM
True.

I was more imagining the cartoon version, though.

😀
November 24, 2025 at 1:15 AM
You mean like putting a fan behind a sail on a sailboat to drive it forward? 😀
November 24, 2025 at 12:48 AM
Did you know you don't need a special licence to drive a coach bus if you aren't carrying passengers?

It's a big scary world out there! 😀

So, the same weight as a standard F350 diesel pickup.

Remember, Bill 2 prevented both the Alberta Human Rights Act and the Alberta Bill of Rights to no longer apply to teachers. That's not just ordering them back to work. That's making them less than human with regard to their rights by definition.
November 23, 2025 at 7:08 PM
Careful there. You literally said you did "research" in grade school. Just because your teacher used that word doesn't mean you were doing scientific research (which was what the OP was talking about). You did a book report in grade school likely based on encyclopedia reading. Not research.

Lilley drops a great example of things you say when you've lost the narrative.

Then again, he IS working for the Toronto Sun.
November 23, 2025 at 1:44 PM
You missed the point. You lumped together very different concepts. A deep respect of the value that scientific research gives us has nothing to do with grade school.
November 23, 2025 at 1:01 PM
Maybe this conversation can be integrated into a greater examination into US human rights activities at the ICC.
November 23, 2025 at 12:55 PM
True, but really the same can be said for any good intentioned institution on the planet. Shitty people have used some amazing creativity over the years to punch down on others using the most well meaning rules structures.
November 23, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Understanding the value of research would be basic grade school knowledge and parenting? You had a very different grade school experience/parents than I did.
