While in London, scrolling Netflix, I found a movie called “Best Shot.” Starring Gene Hackman, about a HS basketball coach. I thought he had made a knock off Hoosiers. Nope, they just renamed it in the UK due to no one over there knowing what a Hoosier is. Joke was on them, we don’t know either

If you have any intent of upgrading, you don’t have to right now, but the sooner the better. Netflix doesn’t release physical media. Not sure if they’ll let others (eg. Criterion), but they’re not investing in it

Also, also, the shot of Willa’s room at the convent still holds up as my favorite. Absolutely looks like Andrew Wyeth could have painted it

Also, the car chase holds up at home. It’s not quite as effective as it is in imax, but it definitely works.

He’s got to be using some type telephoto lens there; I think the trick is in the distance compression. I know he used some massive looking ones for some of the close up fave shots

Ooof! Was out at a local sports bar/restaurant earlier and they had two different broadcasts of Georgia/Alabama, each with different camera angles. It was kind of cool to watch

That is going to be one hell of a library addition for Netflix though. Wondering how they work out the streaming as well. Will WB/HBO now live on Netflix? Will they just let HBO remain their own stand along service and syphon all the WB content to Netflix?
