Not a face reveal but a back-of-head! My coworker asked me if she could braid my hair today and I said yes. I expected ... not something sick as hell. She's a damn magician when it comes to hair. Sure getting harder to boymode my way through a day one year on hrt and now this lol

Got to bottle my own bourbon this week courtesy of Driftless Glen in Baraboo WI. Love love love that place! Going to open it at the end of the month to celebrate 1 year on hrt :) Decided to sign it because it's mine and I am allowed to draw on my own things #bourbon #trans

The monsters used them as heads, and the heads used the bodies for only God knew what. Not that God was here. The whole place reeked with an awkward, humid silence that made Earl clench his teeth so hard his jaw hurt. Eyes watched them. The thing said he’d be back, and here he was, but not the right day or time. The prophecy was wrong. He had to believe that. He had to believe that with all his stupid, whiskey-soaked heart. It was either this or die. “After you,” Wren said. “Ladies first.” Earl shoved the gendered kid into the hole. Wren landed with an awkward lump and a half dozen curses. Then Leah was there, and Earl froze, his breath stuck in his lungs. The vampire moved in a blink. Her eyes were still black. Her teeth were bared. His fingers found the trigger of his shotgun, and he tried to right himself, to aim and not hit their medic in training. More mistakes, more stupid decisions, more history repeating itself. “Thanks,” Wren said as Leah helped them up. They glared at Earl. “You’re an asshole.” “Yeah,” Earl said. He swallowed. His muscles were tensed, and his emotions tasted like bile. “Yeah, I guess I am.” The wizard swung his robe-clad legs into the hole, then lowered himself. He landed with a soft thud. He looked around. They were in a fucking K-Mart.

Travis smiled. It didn’t quite fit his face, which was a boyish 24 with blonde hair and a crooked nose from a fight eight years in the past. Because he was happy—actually happy—but he was envious, too. His parents hadn’t given him the luxury of living at home and going to college. Of not lying to them. Maybe they would have, if their son had been more normal, more straight. But he wasn’t. Instead he had come out of the closet and into a room filled with nails. “Let’s go.” His phone barked with notifications, which Travis ignored. He was good at that. An actual pro. Yet his heart jolted him with little shocks of pain. He almost reconsidered. But for every good memory he had of Chicago, there were two bad ones lurking around the corner. Most involved the midnight hours. He got in his car and waited while Gabe struggled with the door. Travis drove an old Ford Focus, not beat to hell by any means, but in need of work. One of those little projects he kept meaning to start but then always found something else to fix. Last weekend it had been a lawnmower. The weekend before that, an air conditioner, one of those window ones. The weekend before that … well, he and Gabe had smoked enough pot to travel all the way to the end of time. In the future, his car still had a busted door. “You need to fix your car,” Gabe said when he finally got in. “It makes you look like a bad mechanic.” “Na, dude. I’m like a chef. Don’t cook good meals for myself, only for people with money.” “I don’t have any money.” Travis laughed. “No shit.”
