Nipped to B and M to get some lights and tinsel - I'm going to put some decorations up downstairs, but wanted something for my bedroom as well ☺️ going to put them up one afternoon/evening this week. I also bought a table top disco light, just for fun 😀 wanted to get one for ages

The BBC adaptation of The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe is on YouTube, adding that to my Christmas Viewing list. Will be re-watching The Box of Delights too.

Just watched the Summerween episode of Gravity Falls, best one so far :) Wendy is great, I love how the show portrays her and Dipper, she never treats him like just some kid with a crush on her, she genuinely likes him (just not in the way he'd like) and thinks he's pretty cool.

Got up at 9:30am, sausage sandwich for breakfast. Quick music session - George Harrison, MC5, Oasis, Supergrass, Soul II Soul, the usual ecleic mix :) watched a bit more Gravity Falls (getting more into it now) and Owl House. Pub at lunchtime with fam.

Watched another Gravity Falls and I think I get it now. I found Mabel a bit annoying at first but she's growing on me :) The show is sillier than I was expecting but silly is fun 😊

Solo Beatles on a Sunday: George in the morning, Paul in the afternoon, John in the evening, a couple of Ringo tracks at lunchtime :)
Although Heaven on a Sunday and #9 Dream are ideal for a sunny Sunday morning

I wish I could get more into Gravity Falls, I just don't get it. It's good but not great. It's mostly just about teenager stuff, hardly "innovative".
The Owl House is at least a hundred times better.

On to series 2 episode 2 of The Owl House, halfway through already, I don't want it to end - stupid Disney Plus!

The Ashes starts tonight. Begins at 2:20am, going to stay up for at least the first hour, can't miss the start of The Ashes, although we'll probably be five wickets down by then!

I'm glad Scotland qualified for the World Cup, good luck to them I say (unless they play England obviously ☺️) hope Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland all make it too

Today is National Absurdity Day, I'm surprised this isn't more of a thing in the UK, we Brits love absurdity :)

On a more positive note I have been checking out The Far Side comic online and I'm really liking what I've seen so far, it fits my sense of humour nicely, planning to buy The Far Side Gallery, or may add to my Christmas list 😃

Checked out Diary of a Wimpy Kid today, but I just couldn't get into it, the main character just moans constantly and seems to hate everyone and everything. I get that it's supposed to be about how Middle School is shit, but I just didn't find it enjoyable.

Why is there never anyone about when I'm wearing my coolest shirts? Had my John Lennon shirt on today, was hoping there'd be at least one foxy lady thinking "that sexy guy who goes walking around here is a Beatles fan OMG I love him!" - not sure there are many Beatles fans round where I live though
