Los fanboys escriben dos tipos de columnas: las que describen el futuro que tendremos gracias a la IA y las que explican la IA de hoy. Unas están llenas de exageraciones, disparates y delirios religiosos. Las otras dicen lo mismo pero ambientando la historia en el futuro en vez de en el presente.

I love the instrumentalist take (see img), but above all I love the parable about Deep Blue, especially this:

David F. Noble wrote in the early ’80s about the compulsions and enthusiasm in the managerial class that drove the adoption of automation technology in previous decades, but it also perfectly describes today’s GenAI FOMO as well.
