As for health spending, and remember this is before the latest billions announced, health spending per child has increased by just 3% over 20 years while health spending per pensioner has increased by 🔥73% 🔥with the per person health spending gap 110% in 2023/4 vs 2004/5

Now look at social protection spending by age:
Over past 20 years, gov spending per older person increased by 34% after accounting for inflation. Children have seen a 10% real terms reduction per child over the same period. #childpoverty

Let's break this down... a whopping 🔥170% increase 🔥 in the gap in spending on a child (receives less) than an older person (receives more) has emerged over 20 years!
