The Tide by Anthony J. Melchiorri promised cutting-edge biotech horror but instead delivered bloated, cliché-ridden writing. Long-winded prose drags every scene, and the constant “rah-rah” American tone makes it feel shallow. Whatever tension it had was lost. Stopped halfway

So I've read all 12 books that have come before this one and for the first time I've felt disappointed after finishing.

It portrays Muslim characters through a lens of suspicion, linking them to terrorism. This reinforces stereotypes contributing to harmful biases in popular fiction.

Usually I would only ever listen to music while on the road for work. After hearing about Adnan Syed on SM, I decided to listen to the "Serial" podcast and was immediately engrossed in the story. After finishing it, I moved onto Audiobooks and never looked back!

p.s 100% believe Adnan is innocent!
