Does anyone know if radio France (rock musique) streaming is purely controlled by random shuffle? Because maybe I’m just reading the political disappointment of the moment into the song choice, but it sure feels intentional

I tried duck-going some specific plant species. The top results were from what looked like legitimate garden sites/blogs. But when I open them they’re nothing but things that don’t make sense, Ai meanderings about cacti having long livers and sequoia living for 56million years. Nothing trustworthy

If you don’t know the history of Chavez ravine and dodgers stadium, now would be an excellent time to educate yourself

The ugly, violent clearing of Chavez Ravine before it was home to the Dodgers
Never forget. Before Dodger Stadium was a legendary baseball venue, the area was home to generations of families, most of them Mexican American.

Got home and half the house is without power. Power company says our weather something was bad but I’m kind of wondering if it’s also solar flares exasperating a problem.
Anywho, dude from the electric company is up on the roof and the lights just came back on

one thing I believe is it’s important to celebrate good things 10x as hard and to look for them 10x as often because our animal brains are hard-wired to pay 10x as much attention to bad things; it keeps us alive, but it doesn’t keep us happy

happiness has to be fought for, survival will tend itself

Oh folks…
It’s sooooooo much worse than what we were originally told. I’m so angry I can’t do anything but go walk in the woods. When I calm down a little bit I’ll tell you all about it
Found what I’d consider a dream home for sale. It’s small, well built, has obviously been loved and tended. It had several offers, including ours. We wheeled, we dealed. They wanted to work with us. We were ready! They suddenly got a call for a higher price, all cash. Foreign investors. I’m crushed

I’ve never really been into sports much but my favorite local pub is having FIFA World Cup watch parties. Seems like a fun way to spend some time and meet some folks. How do I get into this?
