Furthermore this will fix some inconsistencies in trade goods and help brewing separate from potion making.

I also need to fix some erroneous wording. (and hopefully I used that word correctly... English is hard OK?)

There are only so many character cards though right? Just the major arcana then the rest are like regular playing cards like 7 of pentacles?

There are plenty of gamers and devs in the ttrpg space that criticize games they've never played while also making it obvious they've never played a ttrpg before or if they have it was once or twice 20+ years ago.

It's particularly sad when it's a dev.

I've seen a behavior tree once. this and also watching someone futz with shader code for three hours to do something that seemed like it would be a simple operation. I don't envy the genuine hell programmers put themselves through to make any sort of project.

so sorry to hear it.

no it's so true. in the tabletop space especially, people pretending to have friends to play games with is sad but particularly amusing when they aren't directly interacting with you.

Thanks. I should return to it soon. It still needs some work. Notably the character sheet needs some tidying, it needs more monsters, some more general settings details... It's a lot of work to make a game. But I've been away for too long.

People have to hate someone. Tribalism and all that. It's just nature, unfortunately.

Oh, when I played a spell caster which was only twice I think, I used the standard sheet that's set up almost grid like. I've not had a spellbook in this format

A light and dark mode would be nice for whatever layout you choose.

I like the layout with the big buttons personally.

I'm currently looking for a new pc so I can't give you work now. But I will remember you, your mono colored arts I followed you for are super cool and would be perfect for my current project.
November 25, 2025 at 4:05 AM
But the art looks great honestly. It just needs to be integrated onto the page.
November 23, 2025 at 11:33 PM
Also I'd make an exception for the formatting of this page so the boarders aren't sticking weirdly through the image from the bottom.
November 23, 2025 at 11:31 PM
Personally. I'd take an eraser brush at low strength to make the top fade into the page. Then I'd put whatever paper texture you're using for page background on top of the image playing around with opacities and modes until it looks like the image has been printed onto the same paper.

There was once a time I knew little else but pain and hunger and I would have thrown away life if it were even worth doing. Now it scares me, knowing that one day it will all end and nothing I will have done will be remembered.
November 23, 2025 at 10:22 AM
Oh, understood. That's a lot of work.
