This one was difficult today. I couldn’t think of any particular subject matter. But then I realized, I often struggle to utilize my effect tools in Procreate, and decided to focus on those to create a piece. It was fun!

I'm currently working as a Junior Concept Designer for a Star Trek themed TTRPG and I've had an absolute BLAST working for this company. Prior to that development however, I got to design these fun spooky final boss concepts for the mentorship, which was so refreshing to warm up with beforehand.

Bamboo brush holder repair with some paper clay, gouache and gold paint.
Gonna finish that crack off with some wood glue and then varnish. Doesn’t have to look perfect, but an otherwise thrown away product has been given some love and care 💜

Got some new paint brushes to try out. They’re synthetic that’s supposed to replicate the feel of Squirrel Hair brushes, they FEEL really incredible. I’m excited to see how they take the paints!
