Everyone helps me get meds and food and helps pay for my stupid elderly pets’ vet bills. If not for commissioners I wouldn’t have been able to get Grampa’s tests and antibiotics or gotten my Scream’s teeth pulled. It’s only fair that I give back sometimes

It was actually ver hard to hold her against my skin both because she’s teeny tiny (<5mm) and because, like most spiders, her first instinct was to run as fast as she could, and she’s pretty fast for such a little spider

Before putting together her enclosure though I took the time to test a theory of mine: that her fangies are too small to break the skin. I squished her (very gently) to my skin, just enough to feel her body against me. I did this twice and she did not bite me either time

Caught a wall spider (Oecobius navus) who was running along my ipad and put her in a tiny enclosure. oecobius navus isn’t native to the US so she is a FREE PET SPIDER babyyy !!!!!!! I want to find out how long they live (my assumption is <1 year but we will see)
