That's probably why they never bothered me? I am used to them, and some had either pretty neat character moments, or world building bits.

Yeah! That was a very good feeling when I could refresh my DoTs juuuust right back in the day. Then use Bane to spread to everyone else? Especially when Garuda-egi actually used Contagion correctly? It was thrilling.

Yeah but during ARR through Stormblood(ish), we had DoTs and a rotation just fine. It's entirely possible for how it works now to be massaged into having both DoTs and a rotation again. Is that how they'll go? Probably not! But it's possible.

I don't need optimal, I just need fun. Keeping DoTs up while maintaining a rotation can be really fun!

I also wouldn't mind more summons, and even let us chose from among a few and let us slot in where they go!

But I think they could let us throw some DoTs in here and there. Some could be instants, some could have cast times. Yeah it wouldn't be as clean as it is now, but that's fine.
