I'm kind of amazed this worked! Tonight I was able to play SOCOM Combined Assault for the first time, in multiplayer co-op, on original hardware, with one person playing via emulation, and another on their PS3, while we chatted on Discord!

There's never been a better time to play retro than now 🥹

I know it's a filthy bit of nostalgia, but that's MY GameSpy username in a 2025 online lobby for the PlayStation 2, and that's pretty damn cool.

I've gone down the rabbit hole of playing multiplayer games on retro consoles, and since setting up my Xbox, I've now sorted my PlayStation 2 as well 🥹

It's shockingly easy to play the PS2 online with original hardware, and here I am, in an active lobby for Star Wars: Battlefront 2!

I've owned an original Xbox for years by this point, but it wasn't until recently that I wanted to find out if multiplayer is still possible, and amazingly, it is!

Thanks to Insignia, a free XBL alternative, you can still play Halo 2, PGR, Rainbow Six 3, and more in 2025. Mental.

You'd think the latest poster for The Mandalorian & Grogu would have a bit more sauce to it...

It doesn't have to be Drew Struzan's level of art, but like, who'd want to hang this up on their wall in 30 years?

Christmas has come early to the Gomez household, with a before versus after that I've been waiting nearly a year for 🥲

And this is just over WIFI! I'M SO EXCITED TO DOWNLOAD A 600MB INDIE GAME IN ONE SECOND!

I don't have a vested interest in this version of Batman, but Hot Toys announced a new figure for Michael Keaton’s Batman, and some of the shots they posted are hilarious.

Did he make any of these goofy faces in the films?

I wasn't expecting The Séance of Blake Manor to be a GOTY contender, but after 21 hours, a single playthrough, and smashing every mystery, I think it's fair to say I enjoyed myself.

Fingers crossed people more articulate than myself can spread the good word, because it's truly a fantastic game!

Today was a bad day to discover the Spider-Man 1977 collectable figure announcement, which not only shadow dropped last night, and was limited to only 600 units, but also sold out within minutes 🥲🔫

I loved Nicholas Hammond's version of Spidey as a kid, and I'm actually salty I missed out on this!

Well, I think it's safe to say that my first-time playthrough of Pacific Drive is going well 👍

Dude, you've got to watch it.

If you ever enjoyed Supernatural, it's not too far from that, but more monster-of-the-week style. Also, how can you not love the aura of these two?

Crazy that you can go from an episode like "Ice", which is surprisingly brilliant, to a dud such as "Space"...

I wasn't quite expecting an SCP-tier astronaut ghost to be the villain, especially one that looks so not scary 🫢

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy is now the 125th game I've completed live on Twitch, and let me tell you, I've been lied to regarding its quality...

The final act is awful! Lost all semblance of pacing, randomly introduced the internet as a villain, and threw in a sudden love interest! Mental.

Earlier this month, I had the chance to hop onto a call with David Bateson, Agent 47 himself!

It was, genuinely, one of the coolest things I've done in a while and by the end of it? Well, we got Tobias Rieper reacting to a bunch of silly memes over on IGN - please enjoy 🙏

I've worked on close to 800 videos while at IGN, but recently, I've been enjoying doing a bit more on-camera work!

This Call of Duty Campaigns Ranked video is one of the latest examples of that, which I'm actually kind of proud of 🙏

Introducing my fiancée to The X Files, we're a few episodes in, and this goofy ass drawing pops up.

I'd love to know which people in 1993 thought this was genuinely creepy.

I've had a lot of fun bits in storage for ages, and this 1/12-scale General Grievous kit was one of them!

I'm finally in a space where I can find a little place for him in my office ♥️

I've returned to the IGN UK Podcast to chat more silliness, and as you can probably tell, there's a lot to speak about this week 🙏

I was recently reminded of NVIDIA's Eye Contact AI thingy, and decided to give it a go...

Scary stuff, it looks like I've seen things you wouldn't believe 💀

Streamed a bit of Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy tonight, but this time, using the Elgato Prompter, and it was genuinely game-changing!

It doubles as another monitor, so you can slap anything up on it, like Twitch chat - I bloody love toys like this.

Got a couple of mates over, and we all decided to watch three episodes of All's Fair starring Kim Kardashian...

Genuinely a hilarious time. It's an incomprehensible mess that you can't stop watching and laughing at. It also features the most jaw-dropping wardrobe choice I've ever seen in a TV show.

Perfect 👍

Partially painted my office, and sorted out a vaguely decent backdrop for my future work and streaming endeavours!

Behind the power of zooming in, plus purple and blue lights, is a mess of moving boxes and bags, but the viewers will never know 🤫

A little 19th century melody called "The Polar Bear" has been kicking my ass recently, but I've finally cracked a 90%'ish no fuck up rate while playing it on the piano.

This required a bit of movement from my hands, which is genuinely tough, but it's sick to see progress actually happening.

I don't mean to rag on another publication, but Kotaku's recent Prime deal posts are genuinely mental.

Honestly, go search em up, and you'll find a bonkers amount of tweets about items that are selling for "pennies" and that are "practically free". The clickbait is off the charts, man.
