You may have made the ATProtocol *product*, but you also run a SOCIAL MEDIA APP backed by ATProto. Theyre two distinct things and you cannot say WE are not whats keeping the SOCIAL app alive

So many of us vouched for your site early on myself included to get people moved from X actively seeing the exciting stuff yall were working on. But this is going to be a deciding point for the sites future you know that right?

If you want this SOCIAL APP to live you need to hire a PR team and an unbiased moderation team. Even if you have to monetize outside of investors. If you're going to play bias your app will fail. We WILL leave. In terms of Bluesky SOCIAL, not ATProto, WE are your product. Don't you forget it.

Your ATProtocol doesn't need moderation, but your social app that is a byproduct of it does. You cannot just say "moderate it yourselves" while simultaneously playing double standards banning people YOU PERSONALLY disagree with while letting actual bad actors thrive

You realize we can still see the replies you hid right and that you have to actively go out of your way to choose which replies you hide, you can keep trying to silence us but we'll only get louder and contact your donors and ask them not to donate again in the future

BlueSky does not currently have advertising or any real monetization. Doing a boycott/blackout will have absolutely no impact on them due to this, other than users who would be impacted by the censoring doing the work for them.

The real way to impact would be to post more. Trend. Make them moderate

Even if you say you are "anti-AI", you are giving AI a platform and money to continue thriving. Stop giving it a platform if you are ACTUALLY against it.

I just want to clarify, that the article is not talking about banning trans healthcare, but instead ceasing funding for it at a federal level...
