By the way, this is blatantly not true if you look at the way they suspended a bunch of people after Kirk's death. You can absolutely harass these people into moderating the way you want them to, you just have to be a right winger.

the point of having a comms team, just so everyone is clear, is not only to write better statements than you (which everyone arrogantly thinks they don't need) but also to give others the power to take your phone away when needed, because this is patently embarrassing at this point.

the difference is that when amazon or uber or whoever operate at a loss for a long time to disrupt an existing market, there's an existing market to disrupt. what is "AI" supposed to be replacing? where is the demand going to come from?
One claim I really don't understand about AI is the idea that it'll go away because they're all losing money. Losing money while building a product is just normal company behavior? You borrow and lose money to try to make a thing and/or control the market, and then you angle for sustainable profit.
