Every #EuriPS workshop now has a webpage and the clock is ticking for the Call for Papers/Participation, many have deadlines on the 10th of Oct!

If that was not enough, the co-located @ellis.eu UnConference also has an open Call for Posters.

AI #watermarking was supposed to identify AI-generated images to keep the public informed. But it’s been cracked. Scientists have developed UnMark, a program that can remove AI watermarks from images.

This is why free open access journals like @melbajournal.bsky.social are a viable alternative to “the big five” 💪

Lab retreat to beautiful Sylvenstein lake (Little Canada in Upper Bavaria), with lots of interesting scientific discussions, hackathon, speed science-dating, team building and fun despite rainy conditions.

Quick walk during rain break, mountain hike postponed to hopefully more sunny departure day!

First got excited and thought it was in Glasgow - turns out that was the International Congress on Medical Librarianship 😂

Or Venice - International Conference on M-Learning 🤣

Seoul will be great - MICCAI this year will be in Daejeon 🙋‍♀️

That’s exactly how I felt at ICML two years ago - where are the images?!?

But also - where are the PIs? Lots of grad students looking quite lost wandering about aimlessly without own lab support…

Plus two 3-mile poster sessions a day 😱

Still an amazing conference 👏 - where will it be next year?
