Glazing is all finished, now it's time to do a glaze firing. Potters know, it feels just like Christmas once all is finished. None of these colours will look like this. I'll post a few before and after shots once all is done for those who are interested.

Just about to glaze these two. Someone close to me told me that my female gnome looked like a man with breasts and should be more "svelte". He also didn't like the sunglasses? It's hard not to take criticism to heart. These two took me many hours of work. Now, time to glaze.

Happy Friday! I hope everyone finds time to be happy and outdoors this weekend. Life can't all be about the trump reality show (I am guilty of this). Going to do my first show on Saturday, wish me luck. Here's my "test table" in my very messy studio.

I'm working on Bobs partner. Had to put it away because I'm not fond of the face. Should I add little ears? Suggestions anyone? Usually I just make a nose for the gnome and I can see why!! I think I'll stick with the more whimsical look from now on.
