Sanda (Chinese version of kickboxing) allows kicks to the legs (bar the knee) and swiping the legs is a common technique.

Afaik also Savate allows kicks to the legs.

I remember people at several Uni experimenting with a cluster of Linux-PS2 to see if the GPUs could be used for numerical simulation.
(The answer was "sort of" as the very limited memory was a serious bottleneck.)

Even the "Pinocchio" inspiration annoys me, as it feels like they never ever bothered to read the book, but just lifted a few random names.

I know a lot of people like it, and I am happy for them. But it just doesn't work for me.

The combat is a unholy mix of expecting lighting-fast reactions and being very unresponsive. All levels are essentially linear monochrome corridors. The enemy variety is limited, and largely rely on "jumpscare" tactics to damage you. 2/
