J'aime Paris
@jaimeparis.bsky.social
Surely it goes without saying that I love Paris. I also appreciate people, great stories (in books or film), gymnastics, music, and inspiration about Who and what matters.
Over the years, I have been inspired by the wisdom, perspective, and love of poet and peacemaker Mattie Stepanek (1990-2004).
Deeply troubled by the tragedy of 9/11, Mattie penned this poem. It feels relevant and needed today.

Honestly, this can be a challenge. But the world needs our love, so this is an important reminder.

Continuing to remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on this day set in his honor. What wisdom and grace he shared.

When I first returned from France, my mindset was to try to employ what I perceived as French decor rather than display French landmarks, etc. However, over the years, I have missed France so much that now my decor is more “How many Eiffel Towers can you count?” Currently lying under this comforter.

Today especially, I wish to reflect upon the wisdom of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Blue Sky World: *The* Aimee Boorman who coached *the* Simone Biles to the 2016 Olympics is now on 🦋. In addition to being an accomplished gymnastics coach and the author of a book to be released in April, she is a cool human. Give her a follow!

Any other Claude #Monet fans here? I was just looking at his painting “Cliffs at Pourville” and noticed the two people in the foreground look—at least to me—more sketched than painted. Is it because they’re so small? Was Monet trying a different technique? Thoughts?

@saltocoach.bsky.social I just learned there is a way to add text to photos so visually impaired individuals can learn what is being shared in the photo. For my first attempt at using this, I have added #AltText to the photo you shared of your book. Posting to you in case you wish to share it. 😊
