Once everything is added up, we could see 1-3 inches of rain across the region, however, I’m leaning more toward 1-2 inches of rain. There is a very low threat for a strong storm or two on Saturday!

- All modes of severe weather are on the table.
- The greater chance for a strong storm or two will be during the afternoon & evening. I hope to have more specifics after new data comes in later.

I’ll be monitoring things closely! #lawx #louisiana #severe #storms

- The ArkLaMiss is also included in this Marginal Risk, with the exception of Union County and Union Parish. Both Unions are included in a Slight Risk, which is a level 2 out of 5 on the severity scale.
- The highest severe threat remains centered over the ArkLaTex region.

- For those of us in Central Louisiana, the risk remains VERY LOW! Areas from DeRidder to Boyce to Jena and NW are included in a Marginal Risk for severe weather. This is a level 1 out of 5 on the severity scale.

A stray shower will be possible Friday evening, but the weather should be good for most of the area by football time on Friday night! The threat for severe weather is LOW overall. I’m keeping a close eye on things and will give you the FIRST ALERT to the latest!

HYPE:
- An INSANE arctic blast (we’ve hit cooler temps this fall than what’s expected next week, as of now)
- Snow or wintry precip in northern or central Louisiana

If something happens to change, I’ll keep you posted. #lawx #louisiana #fall #winter #snow

FACTUAL:
- A front will move through during the middle to latter part of next week
- Rain will be possible ahead of the front
- Temperatures will be cooler, with lows potentially reaching the mid & upper 30s in north-central Louisiana
November 18, 2025 at 5:59 PM
- Cooler temps will arrive behind the front. I don’t expect us to be near our coolest temps of the fall season, but the cooldown should be nice!

A lot could evolve with the forecast for the end of next week, so make sure that you are staying weather aware as your weekend winds down!
November 15, 2025 at 3:47 AM
- Rainfall totals stay pretty manageable. 1-2 inches will be possible in northern & central Louisiana. The rainfall hotspot appears to set up over the Texoma region along the OK/TX state line along the Red River.
