Yea he has done that, it is his plan. He isn’t the one saying no, BC is. He is depending on markets doing the lifting for preventing it. That may be the case right now but if the price of a barrel goes back up, they will have their funding and BC and FN people are back in a fight to protect our land

There may be no chance because of the economic realities behind the expansion. Carney believes there is no economic pathway for Alberta because of that market, oil at 40$ a barrel makes it impossible. He may be right, but if the price goes back up due to global instability, it becomes viable again 🙄

The worse part about it is that it feels like he has said yes to them so all of the pressure would be put back on BC to stop it again. It’s dragging BC back into a fight, WE already won🙄. All to get Alberta off the Liberals in Ottawa and send their bat shit crazy climate deniers back at US in BC

Does it matter if he pushes back on Trump but bends over for Smith in Alberta, she is worse. She works to separate her province and will do absolutely nothing in the fight against the fascist down south because her and her people are fascists.

That pipeline is never going to happen, even giving lip service to it is going to be political suicide. You have no idea how mad you have made BC and how insecure you are making First Nations people who faught and won this battle in the courts feel. You are either not listening or an a$$hole.

Stabbing BC voters that put you in power is bad look. You shouldn’t be even giving lip service to this idea as it is settled. By the courts in First Nations favor. A lot of people in BC feel betrayed by you even talking to her about this. Take the temperature and focus, and stop looking at our coast
