The sheer simplicity of @bsky.app is a fantastic example of how most apps and platforms heavily over-engineer based on what if’s. This app is almost entirely baseline implementation. The tech doesn’t account for many what-ifs most people would assert are necessary for MVP.

One thing I’ve noticed - running your own Bsky server, uploads are pretty much instantaneous. Which makes complete sense.

I see all this and it just further validates my views on front end frameworks.
I use them, I enjoy them, I’m not hating on them, but you cannot look at this code and think “it’s more performant than vanilla” and be taken seriously.

ok so based on my testing, if Parent has 'use cache' and takes children then children indeed don’t invalidate it

It’s not baby stuff, because you yourself don’t understand the intent of tariffs. It isn’t to get more money from other countries, it’s to either force these countries to lower their prices causing economic strain OR to make domestic markets competitive by reducing or eliminating price gaps.

It’s not baby stuff, because you yourself don’t understand the intent of tariffs. It isn’t to get more money from other countries, it’s to either force these countries to lower their prices causing economic strain OR to make domestic markets competitive by reducing or eliminating price gaps.
