I just found out that the podunk "Williams General Store" (Williams, OR) where I grew up has a payphone inside still. These are ALL modern pictures. It looked /exactly/ like that when I was 11 years old (50 years go). Just wow. Somethings really do not change.

Very interesting computer language interface to browser based music synth. Super interesting for anyone into music festivals.

And that's what it looks like when you bring a 1/3rd of your solar system back online.

We can seed the galaxy, perhaps even beyond, given a constant 1g engine... one way.

"I flew up here."
(Actually I was helping a local art group take that installation down.)

Still one of the best chunks of educational code I've written. I was avoiding boolean operations so that students wouldn't be confused by them, so the code is less than optimal, but the table layout, comments, and clarity I'm proud of.

Did an "absolutely amazing" welding job to repair my wifes weeding tool. LOL. The fact that I spend more time grinding the blobs off than I did "expertly" welding them on doesn't count right? ,o)

Or if you want to use a breadboard and do easier soldering with power terminals, I've got a PCB design for you.

Did you know they make 3 by X breakaway headers? And you can solder them up to make servo headers. For little robots, or whatever.

This reminds me of this.
- Zach is using 3D printed interconnections to build standard lattices indoors.
- Brian provided custom shape lattices outdoors.

So you like the tiling? I do... not tabbing... not sure what to call it... I have the corner of each window sort of sticking out (see pic) and I can get from one window to the nice quickly by tab key or click the corner. I'd love to be able to tile the... not tabs... corners into groups.

I've been monitoring this page, which is for the Port of Los Angeles where about %17 of all goods enter the USA. So far there is no change.

Inspired by @ruenahcmohr.bsky.social I took some time to write up my years of thinking / experience with very very simple structured light / motion vision systems for mobile robots:
