The secretary of transportation went on Fox & Friends this morning and trashed air travel, portraying the current air traffic control system as a disaster, and then claimed taking public transit is "dangerous."

I miss the DEI days when it was safe to travel.

The 150,000 new beneficiaries include:

* 80,000+ borrowers who were cheated or defrauded by their schools

* 60,000+ borrowers with total and permanent disabilities

* 6,000 public service workers

Literally every single person I've encountered on Bluesky is more educated, accomplished, motivated, and productive than I am. A considerable portion of them are struggling just as much, and often quite a lot more, financially and psychologically than I am.

All life demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life. The very striving and hard work that we so constantly try to avoid is the major building block in the person we are today.
