I was watching a video of a guy who cleans up the houses of extreme hoarders and he was saying, "I always find like 50 different notebooks with only the first 4 or 5 pages used" and I just thought there was no call for him to come at me like that

I don't think the original album works, but it is intetesting. A document of tentative exploration (similar to New Morning).
I love the Basement Tapes through New Morning era. A mixtape based on these years might be my favorite.
