Reading these comments I am astounded at how ignorant people are about colostomy vs urostomy.
Neither one smells. At all. The seal on the appliance holds all odors in, unless the seal is broken & there's a leak. A leak would be evident.
L Colostomy attaches to abdomen.
R Urostomy is via catheter.
