Pragmatism doesn’t mean capitulation. Elected leaders still have to get things done.

We need new leaders in the Democratic Party. Leaders who focus on cost of living, housing, healthcare, higher education, cleaning up our streets, opening new opportunities for people to succeed on their own merits.

Shown here, I had the opportunity last year at TMA Blue Tech to speak with NAVSEA about alternative fuels and sensor technology to aid domain awareness. These same innovations that help keep our air and ocean clean and healthy, they also help propel our service members across the globe.

Recently I visited this gorgeous overlook of the Eel River. CA’s third-largest river, it's a critical habitat for salmon & steelhead, a provider of recreational whitewater rafting & fishing, and a culturally significant water source for Native American tribes.

Up in the Sierras of Nevada City for this house party, I was energized by the discussion on wildfire insurance, community colleges, healthcare and more. Plus, I do love that the fresh mountain air! Many thanks to Erika and Bryan for hosting.

Fantastic event last night with the LA Democratic Party! Ran into my LA friends, plus LA Sheriff Robert Luna, Al Muratsuchi, candidate for Superintendent of Public Instr. & current Superintendent Tony Thurmond, now running for Governor. Thank you to Hans for walking me around!

Even in California's smallest beach towns like Stinson Beach, proud Americans rallied to shout "No Kings" here! Power to the Amazing People!

Such a cool afternoon recording a Facebook live with my buddy Neil at the iconic Santa Cruz Boardroom and getting to see my dear friend, former Mayor of Santa Cruz, Hilary Bryant - huge thanks to you both for a great afternoon!

I was so honored to join Legal Aid of Marin's fundraiser last night.

Now, more people than ever are on the front lines of their communities, fighting for one another, protecting one another.

This is where it starts. And this is how we are going to stick together.

Today we remember 9/11. I still recall watching the news in horror, reaching out to friends and family on the East Coast with disbelief.
We honor the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and their courage in the face of tragedy. May we never forget. May their memories be a blessing.

Real change starts in our own communities- that’s why I’ve taken the time to volunteer on my city’s disaster preparedness committee!

Today we traveled by boat along the Klamath River, stopping at sacred sites, old-growth redwoods, and villages along the way.

These lands carry deep history and even deeper resilience. Yurok Tribe leadership made this dam removal possible, and now they’re shaping a more just and sustainable future.

Today, we began our journey in Yreka and visited the Iron Gate and Copco dam removal sites — the largest dam removal project in U.S. history and proof that when California leads boldly, we can tackle even the most complex infrastructure challenges.

Happy Earth Day! We are honoring this day by heading to Yreka for the start of our four-day journey through Northern California.

This trip is a firsthand look at how bold infrastructure projects can revive ecosystems, create jobs, and empower local communities.

Not only is this administration defying a Supreme Court order to bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia — but they seem to take a sick pride in the pain they're causing.

Make no mistake, this is what authoritarianism looks like.

Trump's reckless tariffs are devastating California's businesses, communities, & working families.

As Lt. Governor, I can and will join @gavinnewsom.bsky.social in bypassing Trump's disastrous tariffs to rebuild our trade partnerships and make our state a haven for global trade in the U.S.

When local leaders step up to endorse a candidate, it means something. These aren’t politicians playing games. They’re public servants on the ground, solving real problems in their communities every day. And they know I’m the one who will deliver.

Donald Trump again mocked our golden state, California, this time about education.

I'm running for Lieutenant Governor, and I'm going to fight like hell to protect California’s education funding no matter what chaos happens in Washington.

Trump's word salad on releasing the water in California shows you how dangerous it is to have a commander in chief who knows nothing and cares less about agriculture.

As your Lieutenant Governor I'm going to fight like hell every day for our farmers.

FEMA is helping thousands of California residents and families get back on their feet and jumpstart their recovery from the devastating wildfires.

Kristi Noem's suggestion to abolish FEMA is reckless and dangerous.
