Bringing in new rules with zero public scrutiny or engagement with affected people and advocacy groups is reckless.

The consequences of these decisions will be deeply damaging... and the government is relying heavily on media and public attention having moved on to get away with it..

Darragh is a brilliant, hard-working Councillor who cares deeply for his community. Gobshites & foot-soldiers of English nationalism are attacking him for standing up for his community.

If you want more Darraghs & fewer Tommys in politics, then get involved, speak out & don't let the bastards win!

New plans for College Green are here!! Now with added trees, spaces to sit, play and engage with our beautiful city far from the noise, pollution and danger of the traffic! This is the kinda vision the @greenpartyie.bsky.social have been working towards for years for our city centre! 😍🌳💚

Glad to see Cllrs in Fine Gael pushing back against their Ministers on this one. This isn't just about hotel bed taxes. It's also about whether Councils should be trusted with managing their own cities.
I strongly believe they should and that city issues shouldn't be managed by central gov.

When states fail to act, cities have a vital role to play in standing up for democracy and the rule of law. Dublin is lucky to be home to a vibrant Turkish-Irish community and it was a privilege to join them on the streets last week to protest for the future of their country.

I'm bringing a motion to Dublin City Council tonight extending our solidarity to Mayor İmamoğlu of Istanbul. Türkiye is becoming increasingly authoritarian under President Erdogan but Europe & the West is largely turning a blind eye due to Türkiye's strategic importance on migration & NATO

Taking the bus to @rte.ie to discuss why litter and dumping are such issues in the inner city, the role of CCTV and what else I want to see done about it.
Thanks to the Blessington St bus stop for illustrating the problem nicely for me!
