Fun early tidbit... AWS' fiber sensing tech means that when this cable cut happened, they dropped thirteen whole packets. The rest got re-routed.

I have the dumbest idea for a website, but redis was too slow. So anyways, writing my own purpose built in-memory database because why not. Initial pass is dangerously encouraging, 3 million ops per second. Throw in some unsafe fork() action, made snapshotting for persistence to disk easy.

AWS console keeps showing this and a QR code to me... given AWS usually tries to build stuff customers are asking for, can we conclude a non-trivial amount of people are click-opsing AWS from their phones?
