The context here is very important: this is the first time in several years they have explicitly outlined Mega Man as an area they want to grow. This wasn't in response to a shareholder question. It's codified in their mission statement going forward.

fun fact, you can lose that fight against Dex and GutsMan on purpose and still proceed with the story. the dialogue that plays afterwards is different depending on if you win or lose!

so apparently during Metroid Zero Mission's development, the graphics looked more similar to how Metroid 1 on the NES looked like.

thought about this again, and ngl, when I think back to it, I'm pretty sure the only Wii U game I really feel any kind of nostalgia for is basically Zelda Wind Waker HD.

the Wii U actually kinda sucked, ngl.
and I don't just say that to be mean, I say that because I lived through it. the almost complete lack of third party developer support, Nintendo's need to force the Gamepad into their games, and the Gamepad itself also being a very undercooked feature

I still think it was really silly how Nintendo put GBA games only onto the Wii U's Virtual Console.
and imo, in hindsight it would've also been really neat if they put some DS games onto the 3DS eShop as digital versions too.
